Residents of the Luminia Glade

The Gladebound
The Gladebound are the residents of Lumina Glade, beings tied to the lighter side of nature and old magic—fae, elves, fauns, kitsune, dryads, and other forest-born creatures who carry the essence of the living woods within them. Within this realm, only those of the forest and its natural magic are recognized as true citizens, bound by the harmony and spirit of the glade.

Those with the darker nature are only allowed to stay in the glade in servitude. This is done to protect the glade.

leader of the Luminia Glade
The Luminia Glade is watched over and guided by a single figure—the Luminarch. As most things on the island this Regent is chosen by the Overlord and can only be removed from that title by him. The
The Luminarch serves as the ruling voice of the forest and all who dwell beneath its branches.
The Luminarch stands as the guiding force of Lumina Glade, representing the fae, forest-born creatures, and ancient beings who call the glade home. The Luminarch is the voice of the Overlord within the woods, charged with preserving balance, maintaining prosperity, and ensuring obedience throughout the region.

The Luminarch assigns roles and responsibilities throughout the glade, shaping harmony from the wildness of the forest itself. Life within Lumina Glade is not left entirely to chance—gatherers, guardians, healers, hunters, artisans, and caretakers all serve a purpose within the greater whole. At the Luminarch’s side stands a council formed from the many races of the glade. Together, they decide how best to strengthen the region, protect the forest, and earn the favor of the Overlord.
For favor is protection.

IC leadership Roles Luminia Glade
The Luminous Council
(Up to 5 Members)
The Luminous Court serves as the ruling council of Lumina Glade and acts as advisors to the Luminarch. Similar to the Dark Council within the Shadow Realm, the Court helps govern the region, maintain order, and ensure the glade continues to meet the expectations of the Overlord.
Members of the Court are chosen by the Luminarch from among the races of the forest. They are often respected leaders, skilled magic users, guardians, diplomats, or individuals who have earned favor within the glade.
The Court assists in decisions regarding tribute, regional duties, disputes, protection of the forest, and relations with the other regions of Sovereign’s Rest.
To sit within the Luminous Court is considered both an honor and a position of influence, carrying the expectation of loyalty, service, and devotion to the glade.

Thornwarden
Second in Command. When needed, the Thornwarden will stand in for the Luminarch.

This role is chosen by the Luminarch. Like the council, their place is never guaranteed—favor may elevate them, but the will of the Luminarch may just as easily strip the title away. Within the Luminia Glade, balance is constantly maintained, and no position is beyond replacement.
Oversees the Lumen Guard.

OOC - This role does require active participation on sim.

the Lumen Guard
The Lumen Guard
The Lumen Guard moves through the Lumina Glade like a living extension of the Luminarch’s will.
Tasked with preserving balance within the forest, they ensure that order is maintained among its inhabitants and that the laws of the glade are respected. Where disturbance stirs, they are the first to respond; where guidance is needed, they bring it. Their presence is both protection and reminder that the forest is always watching.

Beyond the boundaries of Lumina Glade, the Lumen Guard may also be called to accompany the Luminarch when travel beyond the forest is required. In such moments, they serve as both shield and envoy—silent guardians whose presence reflects the authority and reach of the glade itself.
Within Lumina Glade, they are the steady hand of preservation. Without them, the harmony of the forest would be far more easily undone.

OOC NOTE:
The purpose of this is to encourage players to roleplay, start their own stories, and enjoy the sim. This does not give a player any leadership or power in character. It gives your character, the opportunity to roleplay having the best things for a week.

Players who are in different time zones from the admin and leads should post their roleplay in the Discord roleplay channels and the SL roleplay groups. If we are here to see you on sim. We don't know that you have been there.

For a roleplay sim to exist, it needs roleplayers. Roleplayers want stories and people to roleplay with. We don't expect players to be on sim 24/7 nor will we choose players for the title of Favored simply because their avatar is on sim.
