Residents of the Shadow Realm

The Shadow Dwellers
Shadow Dwellers are the residents of the Shadow Realm, creatures of a darker nature—vampires, demons, minotaurs, and others like them. Within this realm, only those who carry such darkness are recognized as true citizens, bound by the nature that defines them.
Those of lighter disposition exist here only in servitude. They remain beneath the Shadow Dwellers, unable to rise beyond their station or earn respect among those who dwell in the shadows.
**Admin appointed a position.
The Shadow Realm does not govern itself.
From within its endless dusk, it is watched and ruled by a single figure—the Keeper of the Shadows. Chosen by the Overlord and only the Overlord can remove them from that title.
The Keeper watches over the region, assigning roles, shaping order from chaos. Labor is not left to chance here—every task, every position is placed with purpose. At their side stands a council, formed from the many creatures who call the darkness home. Together, they decide how best to earn the Overlord’s favor, knowing that favor is the only thing standing between them and ruin.
The Keeper is loyal but not blind. They are no more a slave than any other bound to the island. They understand the truth that lingers beneath every command: everything they have exists by the Overlord’s grace, and it could all be taken just as quickly.
So they enforce his will without hesitation.
For in the Shadow Realm, obedience is not just duty—it is survival

(IC EARNED ROLES AND ROLES THAT CAN BE OVERTHROWN IC)
The Darkness Council
(Up to 5 Members)
The Dark Council is made up of Shadow Dwellers, chosen by the Keeper of Shadows. They serve as the Keeper's Inner Circle.
.The Council advises on matters of tribute, punishment, and strengthening the Shadow Realm’s standing with the Overlord—whether through service, offerings, or actions against rival regions.
Council members may also influence the roles assigned to captives within their territory. The Keeper of the Shadows decides each member’s duties, the areas they oversee, and has the power to remove a council if needed.
OOC - This role does require active partcipation on sim.

KEEPER OF THE FORGE
Keeper of the forge.. Second in Command. When needed the Keeper of the Forge will stand in for ther Keeper of Shadows.
This role is chosen by the Keeper of the Shadow. Just like the council if the their place is not guaranteed—favor can raise them, and the Keeper’s will can just as easily remove them. Within the shifting order of the Shadow Realm, status is never permanent.
Oversees the Shadow Guard.
OOC - This role does require active partcipation on sim.
The Shadow Guard
The Shadow Guard moves through the darkness like a living extension of the Keeper’s will.
Tasked with enforcing the laws of the Shadow Realm, they ensure order is maintained among its inhabitants and that no rule is ignored or broken without consequence. Where unrest stirs, they are the first to respond; where discipline is needed, they carry it out without hesitation.
Beyond the boundaries of their own region, the Shadow Guard may also be called to accompany the Keeper of the Shadows when travel to the village is required. In such moments, they serve as both shield and warning—silent protectors whose presence alone is enough to command caution.
Within the Shadow Realm, they are the steady hand of control. Without them, the darkness would be far less contained.
